Rolled Barley, Wheat, Maize and Field Beans constitute at least 55% of this ration. Various pulps and high protein ingredients are added to provide highly digestible fibre and to balance the protein. Digestible fibre is very important in order to balance and ‘’cool down’’ the high starch content of the diet and to deliver high intakes. This is a high energy ration, so careful management is essential. Contains live yeast.

High Maize Beef Finisher

Designed for intensive feeding to finishing cattle particularly in the last 8 to 10 weeks pre-slaughter. This ration achieves phenomenal results, particularly when feed at high levels. We have seen good bulls exceeding 2.5kgs liveweight gain per day on this ration. It contains high levels of Maize. Maize is a very safe /easily digested source of starch & thereby enables you to feed up to ad lib levels of an energy dense ration without the risk of causing digestive upset. The high maize content will also boost fat deposition on the carcass, ensuring excellent carcass finish and high kill outs. The Maize is backed up with high inclusions of Wheat, Barley and Beans. Although very high in starch and really “energy dense”, this is a “safe” feed. Beef cattle take to it easily and you will find that feeding levels can be raised relatively quickly, without excessive risk of causing digestive upsets.

Testimonial by beef farmer Joe Connolly.
